Buy Victorinox Luggage Architecture 3.0In winter there’s always a plethora of exciting things you can do in the USA. If you’re looking to travel to the Big Apple, and are planning a sojourn in New York central hotels, there are plenty of activities nearby to suit everyone. Here are a few fun things you could do in Central Park, which plays host to as many as 35 million visitors every year.

There’s a reason why Central Park is the most visited urban park in the U.S. There’s always something to do: from birding to boating, riding the carousel or rides in a horse carriage, Central Park is never short on entertainment. Filled with historic statues, a zoo, and free shows every day, if you’re staying at New York central hotels, Central Park should be at the top of your list.

Ice Skating and Skiing

Enjoy the cool, crisp winter air on your face, as you whirl around the open air ice rink. Until March 2012, you can enjoy ice skating in Central Park’s Wollman Rink and Lasker Rink in time with the festive music – it’s definitely fun for all the family. The park is also ideal for cross-country skiing – not something you regularly get to do in the middle of a city! Sheep Meadow, the Great Lawn and other large pastures in the park provide incomparable skiing venues once there’s a snow base of at least six inches, adding yet another task on your must-do list. New York central Hotels are in such close proximity to the park, you won’t have to go very far at all.
